Dr. Matthew Croco

Dr. Matthew Croco grew up in Eastern Iowa, having lived in both West Branch and Amana, Iowa. He resides in Oxford with his wife Liz and their three children: Samantha, Dillon, and Kathryn. Dr. Croco enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as an array of outdoor activities such as golf and endurance racing competitions. He is an avid sports enthusiast and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Dr. Croco graduated from Grinnell College and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Master of Science degree, and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He has exceeded the standards set by the Board of American Orthodontics and received board certification for his outstanding treatment results. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and his commitment to continued education keeps him on the forefront of the latest treatment techniques and technologies available.

It has been Dr. Croco’s privilege to treat patients from Coralville, North Liberty, Iowa City, Mount Pleasant, Williamsburg, and other surrounding communities since 2005. Dr. Croco thoroughly enjoys orthodontics and loves making a difference in the lives of his patients. He is committed to providing patients with the highest quality orthodontics.

Updating our review after my son completed his 2year treatment plan. If I could give more than 5 starts I would. The Croco team was great every step of the way; giving comprehensive information from the beginning, giving reinforcements along the way and preparing my son for the continued commitment post braces for continued oral health. These guys were Amazing; with my mom being a former dental hygienist we got a professional discount and it was more of a discount than expected. Not only that, but they were so kind and focused on comfort alongside the proper fitting of braces, retainers, lingual bar, etc.

They were so flexible with scheduling as well, and even after 9 years and needing a retainer replaced, they still remembered me and greeted me at the door. Said retainer scan took no time at all, and I was in and out.

All in all- if you need braces or retainers or anything of the like, come here. They will happily work with you to get to where you want to be with your smile, and you won’t break the bank or take a century to get there. My brother and sister went somewhere else for their braces; I have to say I got the MUCH better experience. This place is amazing.

Matt and the whole Croco staff is outstanding. I got my braces in 2019 and spent the next year with them. When I broke my retainer in the height of Covid 2020 and couldn't get in and my teeth shifted they were quick to assist and get me back on track. When visiting again this year I had a new addition to the family and the whole staff remembered me and my newborn I had in 2020. They treated me like family and it was so homey. You maybe visiting an orthodontics office but you become family. I recommend them to everyone.

We could not have asked for a better experience. My children had very crooked teeth, overbites, and teeth that refused to grow in. There was no rushing through the process to get their teeth and overbites corrected. My son had two surgeries, which caused more work and time for Dr. Croco, but he never acted inconvenienced by this. The staff is always pleasant. I would only recommend Croco Orthodontics if anyone asked.
