Get to know Dr. Hovey

Croco Orthodontics is proud to welcome Dr. Luke Hovey to our growing practice.

Originally from Bettendorf, Iowa, Dr. Hovey’s journey toward orthodontics began in his home state before continuing in Iowa City, where he earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of Iowa. He then advanced his education by completing his orthodontic residency at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he spent the past two years refining his skills and passion for creating healthy, confident smiles.

Dr. Hovey is thrilled to return to Eastern Iowa alongside his fiancée, Sydney, to be closer to family and begin this exciting new chapter. His strong Midwestern roots, advanced training, and dedication to exceptional patient care make him a perfect addition to the Croco Orthodontics family.

Since opening our doors in 2005, Croco Orthodontics has proudly served thousands of patients and families throughout the community. Dr. Hovey’s arrival represents an exciting step forward as we continue to grow while maintaining the trusted standards our patients have come to expect.
