Amy, Registered Dental Assistant

 Hi, I’m Amy and I’ve been with Croco Orthodontics since 2007.  My duties include chair-side assisting, sterilization, taking x-rays, office ordering and doing lab work.  My favorite thing about orthodontics is meeting new people and watching smiles transform.  I like working with and being a patient of Dr. Croco’s because he is a perfectionist and has a great personality (yes, I’m a patient too!). My patients are great because regardless of their ages, they always have exciting stories and experiences to share with us. I live in Cedar Rapids, IA with my husband. In my free time, I enjoy boating, playing volleyball, and Hawkeye football games. You might be surprised to learn that ever since I was 12 years old, I have enjoyed deer hunting.

Darci, Financial Coordinator

 Hi I’m Darci and I’ve been with Croco Orthodontics since 2005.  My responsibilities include managing insurance, patient financials and scheduling appointments.  I was an actual patient of Dr. Croco’s as an adult, and I truly enjoyed my entire orthodontic experience.  My favorite aspect of orthodontics is meeting and working with our patients and their families. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Croco is his fun loving and easy going personality.  My husband and I have two small children.  When I am away from the practice, I enjoy my kids’ sporting events, the outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.  I am also an avid Iowa Wrestling fan.  Go Hawks!

Trina, Treatment Coordinator

Hi I'm Trina.  My duties include taking x-rays and photos, taking impressions and working closely with new patients. I’ve been with Dr. Croco since September of 2010. My favorite thing about orthodontics is making the patients happy and watching their smiles transform. The thing I like best about working with Dr. Croco is seeing his enthusiasm for orthodontics and his ability to make our patients laugh. I’m a native of Seattle, Washington and have lived in Iowa City since 2008.  I have a son and a daughter who manage to keep me very busy.  In my free time, I like spending time with my children, family and friends, exercising, and spending as much time as possible outdoors.

Sandy, Registered Dental Assistant

Hello, my name is Sandy. I am a Registered Dental Assistant. My duties include chair-side assisting, taking x-rays, marketing, and working in the lab. I’ve been with Croco Orthodontics since 2008. My favorite thing about orthodontics is building relationships with our patients and helping to create beautiful smiles. I enjoy working with Dr. Croco because he is easy to get along with and has a great sense of humor. I always look forward to seeing our patients and hearing about all the new things happening in their lives. I recently married my high school sweetheart, Mark. In my free time I like to be outside as much as possible, go to the movies, and spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy going to Iowa Hawkeye sporting events and St. Louis Cardinal baseball games.

Ariel, Registered Dental Assistant

Hey there! My name is Ariel, I’m a native of Tipton, Iowa. I’m a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant). Here at Croco Orthodontics, my duties include chair side assisting, taking x-rays, working in our lab, sterilization, and helping out wherever I can. I started here in January 2011 and so far my favorite thing about Orthodontics is watching the different transformations and getting to know the patients. When it comes to working with Dr. Croco, I think it’s great to work with someone so knowledgeable about Orthodontics. In my free time I enjoy running, exercising, being outside, cooking and baking. An interesting fact about me is that before going to school for dental assisting, I went to school for culinary arts!
